Links to Additional High School & Youth Sailing Resources:
NWISA (North West Interscholastic Sailing Association) is one of 7 districts. OYC HS Sailing competes in NWISA. This page is your go to for anything about our district!
Note: the NWISA Calendar for regattas and events may have regattas/events that our team calendar does not. Our team calendar only includes regattas that we are planning on attending. If you see an event on the NWISA calendar you'd like to attend, but isn't on the Team's, contact the coach.
The ISSA (Interscholastic Sailing Association) is the body that governs all 7 High School sailing districts. This is a great resource for any general HS Sailing information.
Once your sailor becomes obsessed with sailing they'll want to do it year round. NWYRC is the place to get started. The youth circuit is most active in summer and one usually needs to provide their own boat, however if your sailor stays involved with the OYC they can use our boats at events.
US Sailing is the umbrella organization for all sailing clubs, schools, sailors, events and more in the USA. One must be a US Sailing member to sail in Youth Circuit events or become a US Sailing Certified Level 1 instructor.
The Craigslist of sailing in the US. Boats for sail. Jobs. Careers. News.
Based in Portland OR, West Coast Sailing is a dinghy specific sailing company who sell apparel and new and used dinghy sailboats.
Fisheries Supply isn't dinghy only, however they have a great sailing gear/apparel department and if you're in Seattle they are always worth checking out.
West Marine is akin to a supermarket in terms of their sailing gear and dinghy selection, a good place to get started, but better deals may be had online.
